Why Anti-Racism Awareness training matters in Wales

The Welsh Government's Anti-racist Wales Action Plan sets out a vision of a Wales that is anti-racist by 2030, with expectations across public services, education, health, social care and employment. The Curriculum for Wales now includes the histories and experiences of Black, Asian and minority ethnic people. Moving from being 'not racist' to actively anti-racist takes understanding, confidence and practical action, and that is what this course builds.

  • Directly supports the Anti-racist Wales Action Plan
  • Relevant to public bodies, schools, colleges, health and social care
  • Turns awareness into practical, measurable action

Who it's for

Public bodies, education providers, leaders and all staff. It's suitable for local authorities, NHS Wales organisations, schools, colleges, universities, housing associations, charities and private-sector employers.

How it's delivered

Sessions are interactive and discussion-based, using realistic workplace scenarios rather than lectures. We create a respectful space where people can ask questions honestly. For in-house groups, we adapt examples, length and emphasis to reflect your sector, policies and priorities.
