Why Neurodiversity Awareness training matters in Wales

Neurodivergence is a growing priority in Wales. The Welsh Government's Neurodivergence Improvement Programme and the Code of Practice on the Delivery of Autism Services set clear expectations for public services. Many neurodivergent adults have no formal diagnosis, so understanding and simple adjustments help colleagues and service users whether or not they have a label.

  • Reflects Welsh priorities on neurodivergence and autism services
  • Supports reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010
  • Helps employers recruit and retain neurodivergent talent

Who it's for

Managers, HR teams, educators and all staff. It's suitable for local authorities, NHS Wales organisations, schools, colleges, universities, housing associations, charities and private-sector employers.

How it's delivered

Sessions are interactive and discussion-based, using realistic workplace scenarios rather than lectures. We create a respectful space where people can ask questions honestly. For in-house groups, we adapt examples, length and emphasis to reflect your sector, policies and priorities.
