Good communication reaches everyone. This course covers inclusive language, plain English, accessible documents and meetings, and how to adapt your style so different people can take part fully.
In Wales, inclusive communication includes language itself. Welsh language standards apply to many public bodies, and the Active Offer encourages health and social care services to provide a Welsh-language service without people having to ask. Alongside accessible formats, plain language and respectful terminology, this helps everyone in Wales understand information and take part.
All staff, communications teams and anyone producing public information. It's suitable for local authorities, NHS Wales organisations, schools, colleges, universities, housing associations, charities and private-sector employers.
Sessions are interactive and discussion-based, using realistic workplace scenarios rather than lectures. We create a respectful space where people can ask questions honestly. For in-house groups, we adapt examples, length and emphasis to reflect your sector, policies and priorities.
Infinity Inclusion delivers Inclusive Communication training for organisations throughout Wales. Book a live online session for teams spread across different sites, or face-to-face training at your own venue in Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Bridgend, Wrexham, Merthyr Tydfil, Carmarthen, Aberystwyth, Bangor and Llandudno and beyond.
