Most people want to act when they see something wrong but aren't sure how. This highly practical session uses realistic scenarios to build the skills and confidence to intervene safely, in ways that suit the situation.
Wales has a national strategy on Violence against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence, and employers now have a legal duty to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment at work. Active bystander training gives people the confidence to step in safely, helping create workplaces, campuses and communities in Wales where harassment and abuse are not tolerated.
All staff, students' unions, frontline and customer-facing teams. It's suitable for local authorities, NHS Wales organisations, schools, colleges, universities, housing associations, charities and private-sector employers.
Sessions are interactive and discussion-based, using realistic workplace scenarios rather than lectures. We create a respectful space where people can ask questions honestly. For in-house groups, we adapt examples, length and emphasis to reflect your sector, policies and priorities.
Infinity Inclusion delivers Active Bystander training for organisations throughout Wales. Book a live online session for teams spread across different sites, or face-to-face training at your own venue in Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Bridgend, Wrexham, Merthyr Tydfil, Carmarthen, Aberystwyth, Bangor and Llandudno and beyond.
