Menopause affects a large part of the workforce, yet it's still rarely discussed. This session builds understanding of symptoms and their effect on work, and equips managers and colleagues to have supportive conversations and make simple adjustments.
Many experienced staff go through perimenopause and menopause while working, and some reduce their hours or leave because of symptoms that could have been supported. With large public-sector, health and education workforces, employers in Wales have a lot to gain from supportive policies and confident managers.
Managers, HR teams and all staff. It's suitable for local authorities, NHS Wales organisations, schools, colleges, universities, housing associations, charities and private-sector employers.
Sessions are interactive and discussion-based, using realistic workplace scenarios rather than lectures. We create a respectful space where people can ask questions honestly. For in-house groups, we adapt examples, length and emphasis to reflect your sector, policies and priorities.
